Halloween
During our Children’s Fancy Dress Halloween Party event, Spirid na Barna will entertain her guests while parents can relax upstairs in Platform 22 cafe and enjoy some of our freshly baked goods and beverages. Spirid and the children will have 1.5 hours of fun doing halloween tattoos (temporary), mask painting, story telling, trick or treating, cake decorating and pumpkin picking!
Duration: 1.5hours.
Suitable for children under the age of 10.
Tickets cost €15 per child.
Bike Week
11th-17th September
To commemorate Bike Week 2022, we will be offering a multitude of events and special prices for the week of the 11th to the 17th of September.
These will include:
- A Family Fun Day which offers Music, discounted bike rental, free pizza with every bike rental, cycling/bike exhibitions, activities for kids, and lots of family fun & laughter!
- A facebook competition with prizes to be won!
- Bike maintenance classes with free refreshments.
- Incentivised packages for active retirement groups.
Christmas
Our Breakfast with Santa morning involves 2 hours of fun for the entire family. The morning begins with a delicious buffet of fresh homemade pastries, fruit, yoghurt, juices & cereals. This is followed by a delicious hot breakfast in which adults can choose from a traditional full irish breakfast or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs served on fresh homemade brown bread. Children can choose from a mini traditional irish breakfast or fresh Christmas pancakes served with nutella or maple syrup.
Mr Clause, Mrs Clause & their team of elves will keep the children entertained with Christmas colouring, Christmas (temporary) tattoos, writing letters to Santa & a Christmas quiz. After breakfast the children, accompanied by their parents, will be given the opportunity to visit Santa’s post office where they can post their letters to Santa with the help of the elves. Each family will then get the opportunity to visit Santa for a chat & the elves will ensure that they capture the magical moment on camera!
Tickets: €15 per adult or €12 per child.
Christmas Market
At Barnagh Greenway Hub, we hosted our very own outdoor Christmas Market every Saturday and Sunday for the first 3 weeks of December.
This market offers people the chance to purchase locally hand produced christmas gifts.
